Family Dinner Night {Part One} | Life

Every week we attend two family dinners. One is with my family, at my Mum's house. The other is with Dave's family, at his Mum's house. It's a totally normal thing to me. We've been doing it for years. I look forward to Family Dinner every week. It's a chance to decompress. Discuss what's happening in our lives. Spend time together. Laugh. Relax.

Watching the girls spend time with their Aunties & Uncles & cousin is something that I enjoy immensely. I don't take my camera to every Family Dinner, but more often than not I have it with, ready to document these moments so that we can look back on them in the years to come and remember what life was like.

People often seem surprised
when I mention these family dinners and how often we hang out together as a family. It's made me intensely aware of just how lucky I am to have a family that not only gets along but actually wants to spend time together.

We don't do anything special or anything out of the ordinary at these family dinners. We simply sit around, talk, play and eat food. Today, I want to show you what family dinner at my in-laws house often looks like.

Do you have family dinners each week?
