Ten {2016 52 week project} | Photography

{Sisters} When we had our adventure down to Austinmer Beach we met up with my Mum and two of my sisters and my nephew down there. We had such a good time playing and exploring, and then Mum and my sisters headed home while we stuck around for a bit more playing. The girls have them a very enthusiastic send-off!

{Punky} I've said it before and I'll say it again. The girls love to jump. And run. And play in the sand. Combine all three and you have Punky's idea of heaven!

{Zee} This was Zee's first proper visit to the beach. The last time she was at the beach she was only 4 months old so it was certainly an experience for her. The first thing she said when she saw all the sand was "Look Mummy! Biiiiig sandpit!". She wasn't too keen on seaweed, but eventually she relaxed enough to enjoy playing in the perfectly-sized rockpool that makes Austinmer the perfect beach for kids.

{Me} Week 10's Clickin Moms 52 week project prompt was Movement (Slow Shutter Speed).  Once again I tried out a lot of different things but wasn't happy with any of them. In the end I used my iPhone and a Long Exposure app I have to create this abstract picture of the sunset. I set the Long Exposure app to Star Trail mode and chose a shutter speed of 4 seconds. I then pointed my phone at the sky and rotated it while the shutter was open, producing this cool effect. It looks almost like a painting, and you wouldn't know it was done with an iPhone if I didn't tell you!
