Well, as you might have picked up from my front page, I'm a late-20's missus living in the gorgeous Hawkesbury region of North-West Sydney with the lovely Dave, my hubby of over 3 years, best-friend and partner for almost 10! And my gorgeous, gorgeous daughter Mia, who came in to our lives November 2011.
I've been living out here for about 8 years after growing up in the 'Macarthur Region'...which is a nice way of saying Campbelltown! I didn't technically live IN Campbelltown, I lived about 10 mins outside (the Sydney-side...smug much....lol!)...in the lovely suburb of St. Andrews.
I grew up there with 3 sisters and a brother, the greatest siblings a gal could ask for (although my siblings-in-law...2 sisters, 3.5 brothers...are pretty damn cool too!).
I love lots of different things and always have some obsession going...be it knitting, scrapbooking, a tv show, painting, colouring-in (I LOVE colouring-in, most relaxing thing), blogging, tweeting, facebook-ing, Sims 3, Wii, a book series, I can't help myself. I tend to get really into something and let it go after a while, then pick it up again, but one thing I can't stop doing, is reading.

I LOVE to read and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE books. So much so that my entire career has been about selling books!
I started off selling Bibles at the Bible Society Bookshop that used to be on Bathurst St in the city. Let's just say that working in the city wasn't dull, even in a bible shop!; then went from there to managing a particular chains (now defunct!) bookstores(I decline to name the chain on this blog but you can probably guess!).
I'm currently on maternity leave from my job as Marketing Manager for a book importer and distributor, after the birth of the aforementioned Mia, my first bub.

We currently have 2 Guinea Pigs, Hurricane & Skeleton, 2 quail and 2 budgies. We also had a very cute and lovely bunny by the name of Thumper, though he has been adopted by our next door neighbour to give us one less thing to worry about now that bubs is here. Thumper still comes to visit though, he loves to burrow out of his cage next door and come hang out in the backyard with me and the neighbours cats (who are scared of him! It's so funny, the bunny terrorizes the cats!).
