A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2015.
{Punky} She had so much fun hunting for Easter Eggs at my sister's place on Easter Sunday. It was really great to get away for a few days and spend some time with the family. Punky was good the whole time, with only a few hiccups here and there when she was tired. But on the whole, she's really growing up, and from all accounts she was exceptionally well-behaved at Church, which was a big test for her sitting quietly skills!
{Zee} Poor Zee. She's had a really rough time of it lately. The adjustment to a big bed and sharing a room. And then being dragged down the state on an almost 6 hour road trip, during which she spewed 3 times. She then capped it off by spewing once more after arriving at my sister's house. Add to the general un-wellness some new tooth making their painful way through her gums and she has been one very sooky toddler. It took the lot of us to manage her try to steer her from one meltdown to the next. Let's just say I'm really glad it was just a 24-hour tummy bug and not car sickness, however I think it might be a little while before we attempt another long road-trip or holiday with this little munchkin!

Beautiful photo's of your girls. Oh I feel for Zee! I used to be the kids that always got car sick and spewed too!
ReplyDeleteGosh your girls are super cute. Have you thought about signing them up to a model agency?
ReplyDeleteSpew in the car is the worst! I can't believe how quickly it seems Zee has grown. It seems like yesterday, she was a baby with a 'three months' sticker on her shirt.
ReplyDeleteOh I love that golden light filtering through in that second shot. That light is what I associate autumn with!
ReplyDeleteLovely pics, Who doesn't love an egg hunt.
ReplyDeletePoor Zee.
Thanks for linking up #WW
Sorry but how good does the backyard look!
ReplyDeleteIt did look awesome! I'll have to get S to come up and help Dave do ours!
ReplyDeleteYeah, she was really in the wars that weekend, I felt so sorry for her.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting xx
It was perfect autumn light, my favourite kind for photo taking x
ReplyDeleteEspecially when you've still got 3 hours more of travel with the smell! Thankfully we were pretty good at catching most of it so there was minimal on the car seat, but it still sucked!
ReplyDeleteI have a few times, but they are not very good at following direction at the moment, lol!
ReplyDeleteShe was so miserable, I couldn't look at her little face without feeling so sorry for her x
