Why I'll Never Be A Fashion Blogger {Part 2} // Laughs

I wrote a little mini-rant back in April entitled F&%king "Fashion" and Why I'll never be a fashion blogger and it went off like a frog in a sock. Apparently I'm not alone in my disgust for some of today's "fashion". Right now the fucking feral interesting jackets I referenced from Target are being cleared out for less than half price. Surprising? No. Why they were retailed in the first place? We'll never know. Personally, I think the murder of innocent bedspreads needs to be thoroughly investigated. I demand a Royal Commission, dammit!

"It certainly does suck"

A graphic I created that sucks so I included it for that reason. It's late, dammit!

Things I Suck at:

I suck at... Spending less than 4 hours writing, editing and sourcing/creating images for a blog post.

I suck at... Hearing what someone is saying to me when I'm reading.

I suck at... Taking less than 100 photos of any subject, ever.

I suck at... Cleaning.

I suck at...

Mums Gone Wild & Party in the Hospital! // Life // Motherhood

Mums Gone Wild & Party in the Hospital
Saturday just gone was my birthday. I don't usually go huge for my birthday, preferring to just have dinner with my family and maybe dinner with my girlfriends. But after the stress of the last month I really needed a night to just blow off some steam and that's what I did.

Easy Toddler Craft Ideas: Rainbow Fish Craft | For the Kids

Many kids love the classic book The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. Since it's publication there have been alternate versions that focus on counting and colours. It's a great book and one that you should definitely check out for your toddler.

In my never-ending quest for fuss-free, minimal mess toddler craft ideas, I always go to classic kids books for inspiration and the toddler activity idea I have for you today is no different. I got the basic inspiration for this easy toddler craft from the preschool that Punky goes to. When I saw how simple the fish were to make, I knew it would be the perfect easy activity to do at home.

How to Bounce Back from Unexpected Life Challenges // Life

How to Bounce Back from Unexpected Life Challenges
This is a guest post for Motor Accident Legal Service

As many of you know, my Mum recently suffered a bad accident at work. The last few weeks have been a rocky road, and while Mum is no longer in a critical condition, there are still many challenges to face, starting with an imminent move to a rehabilitation centre.

Nine Months - Ten Months - Zee // Love // Motherhood

baby and kids photography
With everything that we've had going on the last two months I completely forgot ran out of time to do my nine month post for Zee. Or take her nine month photos. Next thing you know she is almost ten and a half months and I still hadn't done her ten month post or photos! So yesterday I hurriedly heated the lounge room, got her dressed and laid her down for a quick photo shoot. Thankfully there hasn't been a great deal of change from nine to ten months so I cheated and did both at the same time! Poor second-child Zee indeed!

Let's Talk About Blogging: Top 5 Things I've Learned About Blogging // Blogging

This post originally appeared on my good friend Kelly's blog back in October of 2012. I've rejigged it slightly and thought I would share with you today.

Blogging can be a funny beast, but it should always be fun. Blogging for me is about so much more than making money or the number of fans/followers & stats I have. Sure, those things are nice. But if that is the only reason you're blogging then you might be in for a bit of disappointment and you probably won't last long.

Struggle Street and the return of Anxiety // Life

I posted last week about how Laughter is the best medicine, and it really is true. But what's also true is that sometimes you can't always laugh, and sometimes what you need to do is have a good cry. What I need right now is a good cry, and I just haven't got the time to do it.

Tales from the ICU // Life // Laughs

Last Wednesday my Mum had a pretty serious accident at work. I'm not gonna lie. I've had better weeks. It's been a roller-coaster ride, from one extreme to the next, and it probably won't stop anytime soon. But as they say, if you don't laugh you'll cry, so I am choosing to laugh (and run when I can), and it's true. Laughter really is the best medicine
