A Pic A Day - July 15th

For some strange reason I'm fascinated by my neighbours' satellite dish and can't help snapping a few shots when I'm out the back. I've been experimenting a little more with post-camera processing and it's amazing the things you can do with a little trial and error. By the way, the dish is not really that big, I've actually super-imposed it with another, closer shot of the dish to give it more emphasis. The orginal pic is below.

Size of the dish in the top photo makes it look like your neighbours use it to find new planets.
The editing is seamless and I couldn't tell if you hadn't told us. What software are you using?
Lol! It's pretty cool, it was the first thing we noticed when we got to this place to have a look at it before we bought it! Everyone who visits mentions it. I'm using Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. It's really easy to use. I've also just gotten the trial version of X3 so it will read my RAW files as X2 doesn't read them, so that's a bit of a pain. Not sure if there is much difference between the two versions yet.
