Seven {52 week project} | Photography

A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2015.
{Punky} Grandma bought Punky a new baby doll and baby bath during the week. So when we got there yesterday and Punky saw her new toys she was straight in to. She spent so long carefully giving her baby a bath, washing her skin, shampooing her hair. Once baby doll was clean she wrapped her up in the towel and dried her off. Watching her act this out, I had flashbacks to the day after we bought Zee home from the hospital and gave her a bath, Punky was so interested in the bathing process and helped wash Zee gently with a face washer. I love seeing this caring side of my big girl coming through.

{Zee} More often than not, if I can't find Zee anywhere else in the house I know just where she'll be... in Punky's room. Usually surrounded by a sea of toys and books, reading or playing carefully with whatever treasure she's found. She loves to destroy her sisters room, pulling all the books off the shelf and removing all of the toys from the toy box and drawers. I have to try very hard not to have conniptions every time I walk past the door and see the mess, but the look of pure joy on Zee's face as she wades through the mayhem definitely makes it a smidge easier to deal with.
