Words to Live By {Part One} // Life

Over at The Lounge this week which, is being guest-hosted by the lovely Emma at Five Degrees of Chaos by the way, it's all about Words to Live By. I have been an avid quote collector for as long as I can remember. I have en entire A4 exercise book tha I have filled, writing down the ones I've found over the years. I've shared my love of quotes on the blog before, and have had many a quote-related post, but today, I present Part One of some of my favourite quotes (that I did of course have to turn in to quiptures too! Feel free to pin away!).

They're all fantastic quotes. I like the Dr Phil one: You wouldn't worry about what others thought of you if you knew how seldom they did. It's just something I need to gently remind myself from time to time. I also watched an episode of Australian Story about Olympic swimmer Kieran Perkins, and something his Mum used to say to him stuck with me: Never give up on what you want the most for what you want at the moment. Too bad I never quite remember it as I'm about to shove another cake in my mouth. Ahem...

These are all cool - and so expertly delivered in nifty graphics! I like the last one about leadership. It's a good one to apply to parenting - just setting a good example as a matter of course. Something to aim for anyway!

A great collection of quotes, I ones that really say something rather than the obscure or slightly preachy ones that just make me roll my eyes.

Cool quotes kiddo! One I like is an old Greek one that basically translates into 'everything in moderation'. Everything in moderation is good with me.
