Bleurgh!

I am feeling really bleurgh today. Totally off colour. My neck and shoulders are really sore and all I want to do is be in bed. But I can't.

Well, I could, if I didn't care much about Punky or my house. Considering what she can do to the lounge room in 5 seconds flat when I'm in there, I hate to think what she could do in 10 seconds without me in there!

Dave is at work and then going to the gym afterwards, so he won't be home till at least 4:30pm. So many hours to keep myself and Punky alive in, all by myself. *le sigh*.

But suck it up I must. And I think today will be a day of not caring how many toys get dragged out, not caring if Punky has more than 10 minutes on the iPad. I'm gonna lay down on the lounge, where I can survey the room and where Punky can still throw blocks at me if I fall asleep, an just get through the first part of the day.

Then we an both have a nap, ad then it won't be long till Dave gets home! Yay! And I think we are gonna have leftover pikelets for lunch. And maybe morning tea. Because we can.

You know you're not feeling well when you don't even want a coffee!

Linking this up with the awesome Jess for IBOT (will include the link later when I can drag myself to the laptop!)

  9. I hope you are feeling better now! We had pikelets for afternoon tea. I always drag my feet to make them, but once it is done I kick myself for not doing it more often as they are simple and quick and YUM!

  10. Oh please just be kind to yourself, leave the mess, and just chill out because otherwise you'll burn out. Do what you can to make your life easy before No.2 comes along - even if it means treating Mia to more iPad time - xx Emily @ Have a laugh on me

  13. We have all been in this place. Don't beat yourself up, just do whatever you can to get through the day. Wish I could help in some practical way. xxx

  14. I didn't know how I would survive two tinies, so I spaced them well apart. No advice here from me lovely, just to take it easy and not worry about 'stuff'. After all, Her Maj isn't popping round for tea any time soon, is she? x Visiting from #teamIBOT

  15. Oh you still feel like coffee while pregnant? I hate you (not really but damn I love coffee and for 8 of 9 months it made me hurl at the smell of it). Days when I feel blurgh and lazy are spent in bed with the telly on, little man beside me. I let him choose whatever he wants, queue up a playlist and veg out with a book, we eat toast and Vegemite sandwiches in bed and hubby gets pissed off at the crumbs when he gets home but I don't care because I'm escaping to the bath for a rest and letting him change the sheets and deal with a kid that needs to get the energy out. Not exactly winning parent of the year awards but we all need days like that.
