Thanks Sarah!

I haven't done any courses, it's mostly just been a lot of practice, practice, practice and lots of reading. The internet is fantastic for articles and examples of how to improve you photo-taking skills. You've made me think that I might put together a post of some of the best information and articles I've found. I also read a lot of photography books, well, I look through a lot of them and take note of the different settings and lenses that used to create a certain picture and then try to apply that to my own photographs.

Thanks Ai, it really was the most beautiful backdrop you could imagine for a wedding. I can't wait to see their professional shots.

Thanks Grace. Clovelly really was a stunning place for a wedding, and the view from the bowling club next door where the reception was held was the perfect backdrop.

Thanks Trish! Yep, that Port Stephens sunset was truly one of the best I've seen

It turned out to be the perfect day for a wedding. It was rainy and cold the day before, and the morning didn't look promising, but by the time the bride walked down the aisle is was just brilliant!

Thanks Alicia! There is nothing quite so happiness-inducing as a beautiful blue sunny sky is there?!

So, u want a comment?! I'm gonna comment the crap out of this thing!! Firstly, ur photos are beautiful! U've got a real natural skill. Secondly, Mia is such a cutey. The most adorable face and cherubic cheeks.....are we certain shes yours?! Thirdly, thats a great photo of the fishing, and I particularly like how it shows the true skill required in fishing....i.e. A rod holder???! Fishing rod? Check! Bait? Check! Bucket for the copious amounts of fish we will catch? Check!....Fishing rod holder so I dont actually hav to participate in the act of fishing but can sit on my fold out chair and drink wine? Check!....oh and fold out chair and wine? Double check! Hmmmm, I may hav to look into this whole fishing thing, I DO LIKE ME SUM WINE! Rin out!
Spectacular photos! Love Port Stephens :-)
