What Have I Been Reading Lately and a Sort-of Book Review

I've recently been reading quite a few Karin Slaughter novels. Ever since I read my first Slaughter and posted a review about it my Mum has been finding them in the Book Exchange she goes to and picking them up for me (passing them along after she's read them, of course!).

Now to be perfectly honest, when it comes to this sort of formulaic fiction, there is much you can say from book to book. I really like her books, I've really been enjoying them, and I can't reccomend them highly enough.

Slightly gruesome, but fast-paced and suspensful with some really great twists along the way. If you're a fan of crime fiction and you haven't read Karin Slaughter then I suggest you get to your nearest Book Exchange or Second-hand Bookstore and grab yourself one. Start with Blindsighted, which is the first of the Sara Linton novels.

I recently read that A Faint Cold Fear, and also Blindsighted. I'm currently reading Indelible.

So, seeing as I have pretty much told you how much I enjoy these books, I won't bother writing a detailed review, I'll just let you know what B.o.B says sso you can decide which one you'd like to read.

Blindsighted - What B.o.B says -
The sleepy town of Heartsdale, Georgia, is jolted into panic when Sara Linton, paediatrician and medical examiner, finds Sibyl Adams dead in the local diner. As well as being viciously raped, Sibyl has been cut: two deep knife wounds form a lethal cross over her stomach...When a second victim is found, crucified, only a few days later, it becomes clear that Sibyl's brutal murder wasn't a one-off attack. What Sara and police chief Jeffrey Tolliver are dealing with is a seasoned sexual predator. A violent serial killer.

A Faint Cold Fear - What B.o.B says -
Sara Linton, medical examiner in the small town of Heartsdale, is called out to an apparent suicide on the local college campus. The mutilated body provides little in the way of clues - and the college authorities are keen to avoid a scandal - but for Sara and police chief Jeffrey Tolliver, things don't add up....Two more suspicious suicides follow, and a young woman is brutally attacked. For Sara, the violence strikes far too close to home. And as Jeffrey pursues the sadistic killer, he discovers that ex-police detective Lena Adams, now a security guard on campus, may be in possession of crucial information. But, bruised and angered by her expulsion from the force, Lena seems to be barley capable of protecting herself, let alone saving the next victim.
