Blog Award # 2 - Honest Scrap

The lovely Kelly awarded me this award and this one entails spilling 10 honest things about myself. Now I've previously had this award, but I don't mind doing things twice!

It's gonna be tough to come up with another 10 things, coz I am really not that interesting. Honestly. I can come up with 10 boring things about me, but that's about it. So here goes...

Random Fact #1: I have a tattoo of a butterfly on my shoulder blade. Got it when I was 20.

Random Fact #2: I hate the word 'sliver' I don't know why. Just something about it grosses me out!

Random Fact #3: My favourite word is Onomatopoeia. I don't know why, it's just a cool word, rolls off the tongue. If you don't know what an Onomatopoeia is, click here.

Random Fact #4: I can bend my arms back really far, Mr.P thinks I am a freak with double-jointed elbows, but they are not double-jointed, I can just bend them back really far the wrong way! I might take a pic and post it one day.

Random Fact #5: I have a thing about even numbers. I prefer them to odd numbers. I really don't like odd numbers

Random Fact #6: Having said that though, I think of the number 21 as being an even number (I think coz it's my birthday, and 21 is a bit more significant than your average old odd number.)

Random Fact #7: I also consider 25 to be an even number coz you can double it to get an even number and it's a quarter of 100...weird  and totally not logical reasons I know...I just have a weird brain!

Random Fact #8: Ok, now I'm struggling. Ummmmm......have I told you I have (technically) 7 sisters and 4 brothers? (3 bio sisters, 2 sister-in-laws and 2 step-sisters, 1 bio brother, 1 brother-in-law and 1 step-brother)

Random Fact #9: I broke my wrist when I was 10, falling out of our Tarago, while filming a promotional dealer video for Toyota (great advertising hey?!?)

Random Fact #10: When I broke my wrist I also happened to have the lead in our year 4 play Cinderella Rides Again, an alternate take on the Cinderella story (think Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes version!) and everyone kept asking me if the cast was part of the play and did Cinderella fall out of her carriage.

Ok, so now I have to choose 7 people to pass this award on to. My apologies in advance if you have already recieved this award, please don't feel obligated to do it again.

So, in no particular order, I pass this award on to -
1. Anything Fits A Naked Man
2. The Truth About Mummy
3. Limpets & Penguins
4. Random Ramblings of a SAHM
5. My Travels with 4 Kids
6. Book Fanatic
7. Wouldn't it be Loverly

The above are all fabulous blogs, which I try to check out at least once a week to see what's been going on in their world's.

You should do the same.

You don't have to, but I promise you'll have fun doing it!

Wow! I'm so humbled!! Thank you so much! I can't tell you what this means to me!! How am I EVER going to come up with random things as COOL as yours?!!

Incidentally, I'm a HUGE fan of even numbers, as well! I HATE at basketball games when someone hits only ONE free throw! Then the shooter gets only ONE point, not two!! Infuriating!! So glad I found a sister in "evenness!!"

Thanks again, you made my night!!

Oh thank-you :)
I to like the word Onomatopoeia!!! How funny is that. It's such a great sounding word with such a simple meaning. Thanks for the award again.

Thanks for the award. I also prefer even numbers. If the radio volume (or similar) is on an odd number I have to change it!

An i agree about fact 3. That word is such a nice word to say.

I prefer odd numbers except if the even number is also a prime number. I don't know why I had to make it so hard. I really dislike 6. No reason. Just don't like it.

Yay!!! My first ever Blog award!! Thanks so much Mrs P, love your work. I also have a thing about even numbers, but to me, anything ending in a zero is not even. If you know what I mean.

thank you so much for the honor. It took me much longer than I expected to complete my 10. Maybe because I'm watching TV too. I love to read your insightful and fun blogs. Thank you for brightening my dark, dreary pacific northwest winter.
