ReplyDeleteMy parents has planned to spend new year's eve, 1999 on the moon. In 1969, that didn't seem all that far fetched.
Some time in the 70s, possibly because of the energy crisis, we got complacent and lost momentum. For all our cool little gadgets, we still haven't quite got that momentum back.
