But I Don't Wanna Go Home!

Last Sunday was mine and Hubby's First Wedding Anniversary. We went away for 4 days up to a little place just outside of Lithgow called Seclusions.

Seclusions feature luxury spa cabins and they are just gorgeous! Check it out...

The cabins are self-contained and are not serviced while you stay (unless you ask) so as to ensure the utmost privacy

The fire is gas-powered so you don't have to worry about remembering to put wood on it! We also had the oil column heater on in the bathroom in the evenings for that extra warmth

I totally reccommend staying here if you're looking for a SUPER-romantic short-break.

We stayed Sunday to Wednesday and paid $700. The $700 also included a late check-out of 1pm, a BBQ pack with steaks, snags, kebabs, pasta salad, tabouli, garden salad, sliced potato and onion. It also included a breakfast pack with eggs, bacon, tomato, muffins, toast, cerals, pancake mix, milk and yogurt. As well as a tv nibblies pack with chocolate, oreos, cheese, crackers and a nice bottle of wine. We didn't need to get anything else!

Seclusions is at Rydal and to get there you have to go past the beautiful Lake Lyall, which is about a 5 mins drive from Lithgow. Lake Lyall is open all year round for camping, fishing and swimming (not that you'd be swimming in the middle of winter, but you can, if you want!) and it's just a $4 entry fee per car. It's a beautiful place with lots of spots for picnics and fishing. Unfortunately we didn't catch any fish, but we did catch a beautiful sunset!

The best part of the cabins was the gorgeous spa! I absolutely love spas and really wanna get one for my bathroom at home. They left us a gift of an oil-burner and some luxe bubble bath. Needless to say we wen t a little overboard with the bubbles in the spa...but it was FUN!
(Hubby gave photo-approval for this shot to be used!)
