What is your current obsession? I currently have a few...playing Sims 3, playing Harry Potter Wii game (I only got it yesterday and I'm hooked!), getting all the squares for my blanket knit.
What’s for dinner? Not sure. Hubby has to go to work soon :( so I could be fending for myself...might treat myself seeing as it's my birthday and get takeaway!
What’s the last thing you bought? A double-scoop waffle cone with New York Chunky Choc ice-cream and a double-scoop waffle cone with bubblegum ice-cream (for the hubby, he didn't really like it, but his 21 year old bro convinced him to get it by telling him that his poo will be the same gross green colour as the ice-cream tomorrow...this is why I'm glad we don't live with his parents anymore!)
What are you listening to right now? The fire crackling, hubby turning pages on the Transformers ID and Price guide I bought him today. It lists all the old transformers toys and what they could do, he and his brothers got super-excited when they saw it and I had to buy it for Dave with promises to get his brothers and my sisters boyf copies too!
If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go? To hang out with my 19-year old sister at the camping and conference centre she is interning at for a year down near Yass, NSW. I miss her and i'd love to catch up (and talk books too!)
Which language do you want to learn? I'd love to learn Spanish. I learnt a little in primary school and really liked it and would like to learn more. I wouldn't mind learning French too!
What do you love most about where you currently live? How close it is to everything! After living for three years half an hour from the nearest shops (and 20 mins from the nearest servo/milk bar) it's really great to live 5 mins from the nearest grocery store and 1 minute from the nearest servo, tavern/bottl-o/Hog's Breath Cafe. It's also only a 4 minute drive to work for me and 10 mins for hubby
What is your favorite colour? I love yellow and blue, and pink!
What is your favorite piece of clothing in your own wardrobe? My bonds trackies! So comfy!
Describe your personal style? Lazy and casual. - This was Bethwyn's answer and I'm sticking with it coz that's me too!
If you had $300 now, what would you spend it on? A nice new chest of drawers to match my bed and bedside tables, although I should really put it on the credit card!
What are you going to do after this? Get some dinner and put on another pair of socks (my feet are always cold!)
What are your favorite films? The Sound of Music (this is my all-time), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (I like the question it poses), Singing in the Rain
Your favourite books? All-time would be The Time Traveller's Wife, followed by Harry Potter (all of them) and the Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum series
Do you collect anything? Shot glasses. I have 123. From all over the world. Anyone i know going overseas brings one back for me when they know I collect them, even people I don't know that well! My plan is to one day do my shot glass tour of the world and actually visit all these places I have gotten shot glasses from as I have not been to any of them except Fiji!
What makes you follow a blog? I Like reading about about what people are interested in, people who are funny and interesting, nothing specific really, I'm just hugely curious about everyone and everything and this satisfies that curiosity. And I like it when I find people who think the same way about things as I do and like the same things as me.
Do you like to comment on blogs or just lurk? I try to comment but sometimes I feel like what I'm writing sounds silly, but I'm trying to get over that and comment more coz I like getting comments and I want to return the favour.
Whats one thing you dream of doing? One thing??? That's hard, I dream of lots; of things...the most far-fetched dream...winning the lottery! lol!
What is your biggest regret? I don't believe in regrets. There may be some times when I reflect on things and wish I'd acted differently but the way I see it, if I didn't make the choices in my life that I did I may not be where I am today and I love my life. Everything I've done in life has taught me a lesson and given me a valuable experience that has shaped the person I am and regretting the past would be to regret myself and who I am. I accept that I'm going to make mistakes and if I hadn't I wouldn't know what I do today.
What is your favourite thing to do on a rainy day? Read a book or snuggle on the lounge with hubby watching a dvd
What is your favourite day of the week? Friday, coz it's the last day of the work week, there's the promise of 2 whole days off, and it's mine and hubby's night to spend together.
