First time reader but just had to comment cause there are a couple of things that might help as you have a few days. There's a good reason why induced labours are harder to deal with than natural.

Acupuncture, acupressure and reflexology are all options for naturally supporting the start of labour if you have access to practitioners.

Main thing though is relax.. do the things you need to do to find your happy place and spend as much time in that mind frame as possible.

Adrenaline running round your system will inhibit labour starting. Your body doesn't want to trigger a process that leaves you vulnerable for a time if you are not in a "safe space" and the only way it's got to gauge that is your stress levels. Yes, I know this is a hard ask when people are throwing around concepts like induction and c-sections.

I know you probably don't feel like it, but get in some sexy time! It helps. Here's hoping you wont need the induction. I agree with Amy though, first baby, you don't have a pain to compare to, so it's gonna hurt like it's sposed to anyway.

Ooh, its getting so close! Flynn was 15 days early so i never had any concerns about being induced or anything but here is how i see it:
Your worried because people you know so induced vs natural, induced is worse, right? Well, you've never been in any kind of labour before so either way is going to be a "pain" for you ( you know, for lack of a better word! ). Try and not stress so much and just remember whichever way your labour goes - natural, induced or even c-section - its all just a process of getting that gorgeous chubba bubba out, and its the end result that matters!
