The future of IBOT {A new era} | IBOT

And so it is with everything in life, there comes a time when we need to make changes. Changes that will benefit us as individuals, and benefit those around us as a community. IBOT is no different and certainly not immune to change. Over the years since Jess started IBOT (I Blog on Tuesdays) in 2011 there have been many changes in the make-up of #teamIBOT (those lovely souls who make a commitment to read and comment on your posts every week). But none as big as this.

Christmas Traditions {Document your days} | IBOT

Christmas traditions. I'm pretty sure every family has at least one tradition that they carry on with, year in, year out at this time of year. Whether it be decorating the Christmas tree, reading a particular book on Christmas eve, leaving out food for Santa's reindeer or baking up a storm in the kitchen, one of the things I love about this time of year is all of the traditions we've developed as a family.

Strangers in the Night {and getting older} | IBOT

A funny thing happened on Sunday night. Well, it wasn't funny at the time, it was actually heart-racingly nerve-wracking, but afterwards the humour of it was definitely felt. It was 10 minutes to midnight and Dave and I were sitting on the lounge watching a movie when there was a tentative knock on the front-door. We looked at each other with WTF faces and Dave jumped up to put on a shirt before opening the door...
