Easter Show Survival Guide {For parents of small children} | Kid-Friendly Sydney

The Easter Show. To be honest, up until yesterday I had only ever been twice in my life. And if you had asked me if I was going to take my two small girls one year I would have looked at you with a look of pure horror and then gone and rocked in a corner until the feeling passed.

One Perfect Moment {Mummy Dearest}

One Perfect Moment is all about those moments, big or small, that make you wish they'd last forever. Those moments you want to stop in time, when everything feels perfect, even for just a split-second. Snapshots of the mind. Moments to treasure forever.

On Saturday my Mum and step-Dad came over to help us move stuff around the house, change over the girls rooms, do a tip run and take home some furniture. It was a long, exhausting day, filled with lots of sweat and dust. Tears even.

Thirteen {52 week project} | Photography

A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2015.

{Punky} Listening to her playing with her toys, and especially the stuffed ones and barbies is so enchanting. The scenarios that she plays our are so interesting, and more often than not very humorous. I could sit and listen to her playing for hours.

{Punky} Things are pretty interesting when your Pop has a wooden leg. It's always cause for much inspection and amazement when he takes it off. Punky loves inspecting it, knocking on it, and then trying to put it back on for him. I still remember the very first time she discovered there was something a little different about Pappa Mick's leg, the look on her face was priceless. Now, it's almost commonplace!

Nineteen Months. Not a baby anymore, not yet a little girl. Her face still has some of that round, baby squishiness left in it. The full cheeks. The extra rolls of delightful baby fat still cling to her fast growing arms and legs. Her podgy little belly.

{Punky} This picture basically sums up Punky; always moving and dancing, never standing still. Unless it's to prove to me that she doesn't need to go to the toilet!
